BYD India has officially announced the launch of their electric Coupe SUV, the Sealion 7. The SUV was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 and bookings started on 18th January this year. Prices are set to be revealed on 17 February.
The Sealion 7 will rival the newly launched KIA EV 6 facelift and BMW iX1. It is available with 82.56 kWh battery pack.
BYD Sealion 7 Variant Details
Sealion 7 is available in two variants with a single 82.56 kWh battery, Premium and Performance. The Premium variant is offered with Rear Wheel Drive and the Performance offers All Wheel Drive.

BYD Sealion 7 Exterior and Interior Details
On the front, it gets similar handlamps as in the Seal EV and sporty front bumper designs. It also gets flush door handles with 19 and 20 inch alloy wheels.
The rear gets the connected tail lamps with a bold black coloured rear bumper. Safety on the Sealion 7 includes 11 airbags, an ADAS suite and 360 degree camera
On the inside, it gets a 4-spoke steering wheel with the BYD’s rotatable 15.6 inch touchscreen along with a 10.25 inch driver’s display. Additional features include Dynaudio 12 speakers, a 50W Wireless Charger, a driver fatigue monitor, a panoramic glass roof and a HUD.
