What are HSRP Number Plates?

These are designed to prevent counterfeiting and unauthorised tampering. HSRP consist of three elements, namely:

- Select High Security Registration Plate with Coloured Sticker, if you want to apply both. There are other categories also to choose from.
- Enter your details like state, vehicle registration number, vehicle chassis number and engine number .
- Submit the required details and select fitment location and time slot for appointment.
- Verify your details and pay the desired fees as shown.
- Some states have also started home installations.
Cost of HSRP Plates:
Two Wheeler: Rs. 200-400 approx.
Four Wheeler: Rs. 500-1000 approx.
Heavy Vehicles: Rs. 800-1,200 approx.
The cost usually includes fees, plates and installation fees.
What are Colour Coded Stickers?
Colour Coded Stickers have become mandatory along with HSRP Plates. These stickers indicate the vehicle’s fuel type and unique serial number of the HSRP plates.
Different Colour Coded Stickers include:
Blue for vehicles running on Petrol or CNG
Orange for vehicles running on Diesel
